From login to your first billed call, in order.
1 · Sign in and secure your account
Open https://YOUR-IP/, sign in with admin and the password from the
install summary, and change it immediately.
2 · Load your rates (Tariffs)
- Create a sell rate (what you charge your customers) and a cost rate (what each carrier charges you).
- Import via CSV/TXT/XLS/XLSX (comma or semicolon): columns
prefix, destination, rate, connection_fee, min_duration, increment. A downloadable template is in the importer itself. - The effective field carries date and time: you can schedule a price change without affecting what is already billed.
The sell rate is mandatory to route: with no price for the destination,
the call is rejected with
NEXIA_NO_PROVIDER_RATE — the switch never guesses what to
charge.3 · Add your carrier (Termination Point)
In Users create the provider with its IP/credentials, assign its cost rate and its tech prefix if the carrier requires it. That turns it into a termination point usable in routing.
4 · Add a customer
In Users: a customer with IP or SIP user/password authentication, its sell rate and its credit. If you want it to see its CDRs and rates, enable the web interface (Activate WEB interface) — the self-service portal is read-only.
5 · Build the routing
See Routing and Dial Peers: you define which destinations go through which carrier, with what priority or percentage split, and what happens if the first one fails.
6 · Test
- Without spending: the install ships a built-in test number (
99XXXXXXXX) that answers and hangs up — useful to validate registration and audio. - Simulator: Call Simulation shows you, for a number, which rule matches, which carrier is chosen and at what price — without routing the call.
- Then: a real call, and check the CDR in Last Calls — duration, rate, cost and margin on the same row.
